Robin Trower
Born in 1945 in England, Robin Trower achieved success with Procol Harum during the 1960s, and later as the leader of his own band. He joined Procol Harum in 1967, and was with them until 1972. His best known solo album was Bridge of Sighs, released in 1974 and produced by his former Procol Harum bandmate, Matthew Fisher. Despite obvious differences in style, Trower's early solo work was noted for influences reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix.
In 1981, Trower teamed up with former Cream bassist Jack Bruce and his previous drummers, for two albums, BLT and Truce, the first of which was a minor hit.
Jack Bruce
Born in Scotland in 1943, Bruce was a founding member of the British psychedelic trio, Cream, then launched a solo career that spanned several decades, including participation in several well-known musical ensembles.
In July 1966 Bruce became the bass player, main songwriter and lead vocalist with Ginger Baker and Eric Clapton in Cream, where he became one of the most famous bassists in rock. By 1968, Cream topped album charts all over the world before breaking up in 1968 after a final tour.
