Detailed Description
The Cambridge Tapes 2 CDs Originally a college group that had Top Ten hits of "Michael Row the Boat Ashore" and "Cotton Fields," The Highwaymen toured extensively during their college careers, juggling studies during the week with performing on weekends. Following graduation in June of 1962, they pursued music full-time. This album, recorded on October 26, 1963, has The Highwaymen returning to campus, this time to MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), for a fantastic live performance that would be a career highlight. Fortunately it was preserved on tape and is presented here, digitized and only lightly edited - a rare treat indeed.
