Detailed Description
UNDER WESTERN SKIES CD
The Sons of the Pioneers are the definitive group in Western Music, specializing in cowboy songs and setting the standard for everyone since. Although Roy Rogers (then Leonard Slye) was a founding member and integral part of the act, their greatest fame came after Roy had left to become the "King of the Cowboys." Consequently, having an entire album (recorded in 1934 and 1935) featuring Roy, is a real treat indeed.
