Detailed Description
SCOTTY MOORE DVD December 2004 and London's famous Abbey Road Studios plays host to a stellar line-up of legendary guitar gods, for a very special one-off tribute concert in honour of The King, with musical direction from his first guitarist, first manager and life-long friend, Scotty Moore. Universal Music is proud to announce the October 3rd 2005 DVD premiere of A Tribute To The King, featuring the songs made famous by Elvis Presley, performed by Scotty Moore and friends. Following on from the re-release of Presley's first single 'That's Alright Mama', it seemed only fitting that during a year which will see more celebrations to mark the 50th Anniversary of Rock 'n' Roll, distinguished guitarist Scotty Moore should lead an exclusive tribute concert, showcasing the music made famous by The King. Moore was joined at Abbey Road by a roster of international guitar heroes including Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits, Rolling Stones past and present Bill Wyman and Ronnie Wood, Steve Gibbons, Mike Sanchez and many more.
