The Sandpipers were one of those mid-'60s groups that straddled the line between folk, pop and rock, and probably the most ethereal of the bunch. Jim Brady, Michael Piano and Richard Shoff created breezy, gentle versions of pop standards and more contemporary (e.g. Beatles) material, a mixture that landed them seven charting albums, of which these are their first two and highest charting.
