Detailed Description
THE LOST TOPIC TAPES: ISLE OF WIGHT 1957 CD
These Ramblin' Jack recordings take place on a yacht anchored at Cowes Harbour in the Isle of Wight (UK) in 1957 during Jack and June's honeymoon in Europe. Originally recorded for Topic Records but never released - these tapes were lost in the National Sound Archive at the British Library in London for nearly 50 years. Recorded during the time period critics claim to be Ramblin' Jack Elliott at his best. Companion CD to THE LOST TOPIC TAPES: COWES HARBOUR 1957.
